Terms of Service

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of Pindrop, a visual feedback tool developed by Périmètre (perimetre.co). By using Pindrop, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Pindrop is a web application and Chrome extension that allows users to leave visual feedback (comments with positional pins) on Figma prototypes and live websites. Comments can optionally be synchronized to Teamwork as tasks.
2. User Accounts
Reviewers (clients) do not need an account — they provide a display name when commenting. Administrator accounts require Google OAuth authentication restricted to authorized email domains. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your admin credentials.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Pindrop to post harmful, abusive, or illegal content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to review sessions, reverse-engineer or tamper with the application or extension, or use the service in any way that violates applicable laws.
4. Intellectual Property
Pindrop is owned by Périmètre. You retain ownership of the content you create (comments, feedback). By posting content, you grant us a license to store and display it within the application and to transmit it to connected third-party services (e.g., Teamwork).
5. Chrome Extension
The Chrome extension operates under Chrome's Manifest V3 permissions model. It requests only the permissions necessary to function: access to the active tab for screenshot capture, storage for session data, and network access to communicate with our API.
6. Availability & Warranties
Pindrop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. During early access, features may change without notice. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Périmètre shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Pindrop.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Montréal, Quebec.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pindrop after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
